About Taylor’s Tax Tips

Hi, I’m Taylor. I started Taylor’s Tax Tips because most bookkeeping and tax advice is written for traditional businesses, not for people earning money from YouTube, sponsorships, freelance clients, or drone jobs.

Creators and freelancers don’t get a W-2 and a simple tax return. You get platform payouts, brand deals, 1099s (or no forms at all), gifted products, and quarterly estimated taxes nobody warned you about. I wanted to make that part of running your business feel simple.

What you’ll find here

  • Plain-English guides on deductions, estimated taxes, deadlines, and bookkeeping routines, updated for the 2026 tax year
  • Taylor’s Toolkit, a set of Google Sheets templates that do the math for you: bookkeeping dashboards, client and invoice trackers, a creator write-off guide, and a tax deadlines calendar
  • Free reminders before every quarterly tax deadline when you join the newsletter

Who it’s for

  • Content creators: YouTubers, influencers, podcasters, and bloggers
  • Freelancers juggling multiple clients and platforms
  • Dronepreneurs and other service pros who bill by the job

The promise

Everything here is built to save you time and help you walk into tax season organized. The guides and templates are educational tools, not tax or legal advice, so they’re designed to make conversations with your tax professional faster and cheaper, not replace them.

Questions or ideas for a new template? Get in touch. I read every message.
